► Citroen spinoff going EV-only

DS Automobiles is the latest brand to commit to electric power, with a new announcement revealing it’ll only sell EVs from 2024 onwards. It's a move that'll also bring an end to the Citroen offshoot's E-Tense hybrid range.
A BEV DS4 will kick things off in 2024, and rather than the EMP2 platform, it’ll use an all-new chassis developed by parent company Stellantis. Called the STLA MEDIUM platform, it promises battery sizes of up to 104kWh and 
a range of up to 400 miles.

As a pioneer, DS Automobiles has anticipated this move, with electrification at the centre of its strategy. The next developments in legislation and the EV ecosystem provide opportunities that we want to offer to our customers who already like our electrified range.
