The Tokyo motor show 2019 is underway in Japan and on this page we round up the key new cars, world debuts, launches and other big news you need to know about from the flagship Japanese auto show.
It's the 46th biennial Tokyo car show and CAR magazine is reporting live from the show floor as the covers slide off a host of new cars. It's not as big as the major European shows, but it draws more than its fair share of new metal from the domestic Japanese car manufacturers, as you'd expect.
The Tokyo motor show opens to the public on Thursday 24 October and runs until 4 November 2019. This year's theme is Open Future, looking at new ways that cars, vans and motorbikes will fit in to tomorrow's world - and the site has expanded from its regular Tokyo Big Sight berth to include the Aomi area next door.
